The Chattanooga East Ridge Area
The bordering city of East Ridge, TN is cupped by Chattanooga on the north, east, and west. It is located in Hamilton County. It is east of Missionary Ridge, which is how the city got its name. East Ridge is conjoined with Chattanooga by the Bachman Tubes highway tunnel.
The first town hall was built in 1924 and was located at the corner of Marlboro Avenue. Now located on Tombras Avenue, the City Hall houses the town library. The public community center is located right next door. Major highways around East Ridge include highways I-75 and I-24. Parkridge East Hospital, a division of Parkridge Medical Center, is the health system serving the East Ridge area.

Raccoon Mountain Caverns is another great outdoor destination with a go-kart track and wild cave expeditions. With 10,000 animals at the Tennessee Aquarium and IMAX theater, you are likely to see something that will blow your mind. Art enthusiasts can admire colonial era artwork at the Hunter Museum of American Art. Take in the breathtaking views at Lookout Mountain. See the incredible 145 foot underground waterfalls at Ruby Falls. Spend a day fishing or enjoying the water out on Lake Winnepesaukah.
The Chattanooga Riverfront offers a world of recreational opportunities both on the water and out.
